Our shuttle service leaves from the area just behind the hotel lobby and takes guests to Via Depretis (and back again) free of charge. Via Depretis is a short walk from Piazza Municipio and it will only take you a few minutes to reach the historical city centre, Beverello Pier or Metro Line 1.

Getting around Naples for pleasure

Hotel Magri’s is extremely strategically positioned for tourists who want to go sightseeing and enjoy all that the city of Naples has to offer. Almost all the tourist attractions in Naples and its surrounds can be quickly reached thanks to the hotel’s central location.

The seafront, shops and boutiques and Pozzuoli – by metro (Line 2).

From Gianturco station on line 2 of the metro (a mere 5 minutes away from Hotel Magri’s), you will be able to reach Mergellina and enjoy a relaxed stroll and delicious pizza along the seafront. From the same station, you will be able to get to Piazza Amedeo, a chic neighbourhood crammed with some of the most exclusive shops in the city centre, or you could visit Pozzuoli and admire the Temple of Serapis, the Flavian Amphitheatre and the Castle of Baiae, before settling down to a tasty lunch that will probably include some of the best fresh fish in the area.

The Vomero hill and the historical city centre – by metro (Line 1).

From Municipio station on Line 1 of the Naples metro (a mere 15 minutes by shuttle bus from Hotel Magri’s) you can reach Piazza Vanvitelli high up in the Vomero neighbourhood where you will be able to do a tour of the Charterhouse of St. Martin. After which, you could make your way down to the Museo station and pay a visit to the Archaeological Museum and the Madre Museum of contemporary art. Or you could get off at Piazza Dante and explore one of the most picturesque parts of the city (St. Gregory the Armenian area, the Historical Complex of Santa Chiara, the Church of San Domenico Maggiore, the narrow street of Spaccanapoli and San Biagio dei Librai (Saint Blaise of the Booksellers).

Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento by Circumvesuviana train

From Gianturco station on the Circumvesuviana line (a mere 5 minutes away from Hotel Magri), you will easily be able to reach the excavation sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, as well as the beaches in Sorrento.

Capri, Ischia and Procida by ferry or hydrofoil.

From Beverello Pier in the port of Naples (only a 15-minute shuttle drive from Hotel Magri’s), you can catch a boat to get to the islands scattered in the Neapolitan archipelago and enjoy the lush landscape, turquoise waters and the most beautiful beaches in the Gulf.
